English Salon

I had a great day today! In the afternoon, I hosted the English Salon, which is held on a monthly basis. How wonderful it is to see my students, have a chat and exchange our opinions. Today we discussed a topic with an American teacher for an hour, and did some interpretation training.

Time passes quickly when we talk about an interesting topic. Our teacher is always a great help. In addition, he is even more familiar with Japanese pop culture than we are, so we can learn about our country from him from a new perspective.

Today we talked about our weekends. Actually, my weekends are not very different from my weekdays. I teach students and study languages throughout the week. However, I have some free time each day. I try to do something special in my spare moments from work. For example, I went to a hairdresser’s between my lessons yesterday afternoon. On weekends, I don’t go out so often. I would rather go out on weekdays to avoid crowds. How about you? How do you spend your weekends?

In the evening, I taught another two lessons. TGIF! It’s time to relax and unwind.
